Harvested November 2006 - VERY LIMITED! Olio del Le Colline Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from olives grown in the rolling hills of Santa Cruz, California in the town of Aptos. Owner Chris Banthiem's Valencia Creek Farm is a visually extraordinary property sitting on the hill. From a small group of 100 olive trees first imported from Pescia, Italy in 1994, Chris and her partner, nurseryman Bruce Golino, have expanded to over 1800 trees. Chris and Bruce are very proud to be the first to grow olives for olive oil production in the Monterey Bay area since the 1940's. Award-Winning Le Colline di Santa Cruz is produced from estate olives grown in the cool, coastal climate of Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
